Do you prefer one shipping service over another? There are a number of different ones. The main ones here are UPS or Fed Ex or even the USPS. Do you prefer one of the big names or your own postal service?

Which one is most reliable? Which one is most economical?

Personally, I think there are a lot of variables. Around here, one is faster, one is cheaper when you're having something shipped to you, the other is cheaper if you need something picked up to have it shipped. I guess I would have to say "all of the above," but for different things.

Which shipping service best meets your needs and your budget, if any?

We've tried FedEx before and I think they provide a good service. However, whenever we ship items, we always use LBC if you're familiar with it. It's our local courier and now it does ship worldwide. Compared with UPS and FedEx, I think LBC has cheaper shipping fees, and it is also fast. Not to mention that there are branches of it almost everywhere that it's really convenient for us to send and receive packages anytime :)

I haven't heard of that one. I'm not sure it's available where I live (it's in a rural area). Fast and cheap sounds good though. I'll have to be sure and look it up, so I can compare it with the others. Thanks.

I get good service from the others as well. They are all very friendly around here too, which is nice. I also like the fact that I can add instructions, such as having them leave the package in a certain spot if I'm not at home when they arrive to drop it off. This time of year, I get the most packages, since I'm trying to do all my holiday shopping online. I can't always be at home, so this comes in handy.

Yes I do have my preferences when dealing with shipping companies. My most preferred shipping service is DHL. This has been the shipping service I use whenever I am mailing out letters or items abroad. I do not have control over the shipping services some of these online business would use to send me bought items.

I prefer Blue Dart in our area. I am not a frequent online shopper but whenever I do this I prefer Blue Dart because they are very prompt and flexible too. They got an efficient customer service which always let me know as soon as the product arrives their depot. I know their services are somewhat a little bit pricey but quality of service is really good.

I have used other shipping services too but they are somewhat slow and sometimes I had to face issues with customer service. They are not even ready to keep our packet for some more time if we are not able to collect it soon. But Blue Dart is quite broad minded on these aspects.

We have tried both UPS and Fed Ex but found Fed Ex to be the cheapest option while they do the same job as UPS. I tried UPs first if I would've known before hand that FedEx was cheaper we would have gone through their process. So over all Fed Ex is the winner, they have great service and are always on time.

I am living outside the US. I don't directly use any of those regular shipping services like UPS or Fed Ex because it would be too costly to do so. I usually go with whatever internal US shipping method the site I am purchasing from is using. The goods will be shipped to the Miami location where my US mailbox is situated and the shipping company that supplied the mailbox (ShipMe) will transport to my country, take care of the customs requirements, and delivers the good to me at considerably lower cost than if I had used either Fed Ex or UPS directly to my country.

I started my online shopping activity with eBay and went about looking for other shopping sites. I have shopped with many but have finally settled down with Amazon in. I only go elsewhere if Amazon in does not have what I am looking for.

I have made use of DHL, but they are so expensive if you don't have an account with them. I don't know about the rest because I don't make buying things online a regularity, because despite how cheap they services can seem, it's always extra expensive for me.
