Log Inare offering a .xyz domain for $1 (plus 18 cents ICANN fee) until August 7. I was waiting for a July 4 deal and there wasn't any and found this. The price after is $10.88 which is the same as a .com and is more affordable than a .co or others. I've bought three already as some premium names were still available and you get free WHOIS included too.
