Traveling is not cheap, most of my travel budget goes towards accommodation. I've found this website and was wondering has anyone made use this app/website. Airbnb is an online community marketplace that connects people looking to rent their homes with people who are looking for accommodations. Airbnb users include hosts and travelers: hosts list and rent out their unused spaces, and travelers search for and book accommodations in countries worldwide. You can download the app on your phone aswell.
Air B&B is becoming popular among the young especially for the so called backpackers because they can save a lot in accommodation expenses. But as I had posted in another thread, we are used to staying in hotels so Air B&B is not for us for now. However, if the reviews are good then maybe we can consider Air B&B for our next domestic trip but for a foreign trip maybe not yet. PS. We get discounted hotel rates with booking.com if we get a hotel as early as 6 months in advance.
