Clevo is the name of the company that produces non branded barebones laptops which are then generally sold to resellers; resellers then spec it out fully to be sold direct to the consumer under their own brands. You'll find many resellers around the world and in my case, the one I'm thinking of buying from is in the UK called PC Specialists. In terms of bang for buck they seem to be pretty good and the one I'm thinking of buying is the 13.3" version in particular with the 860m GTX video chip (a particularly powerful graphics chip for such a small form factor) For the CPU, I'm thinking of going with the quad core but I'm a little hesitant about packing so much power into such a small space - overheating tends to be the prime reason why components fail and I'd rather this laptop last me for at least 5 years (like the one I'm using at the moment) Is there anybody using these laptops? I'm particularly interested to hear others experiences with the smaller laptops to see how well they last over time.
