I'm looking into replacing my electric deep fryer. I have the Secura 4.2L 1700-Watt fryer: I like it but it has a few issues I do not care for. The plug is magnetized & doesn't seem to rest well enough in the back of the fryer & I understand the timer is a safety issue but frustrating when it turns off the fryer. I'd like something similar to this one but better in quality. Any suggestions? P.S. Why is there an Apple in that picture? Is it to offset the unhealthy baskets of fried food???
I have a T-Fal EZ clean fryer and am very pleased with it. The plug on mine is also magnetic, but I haven't had an issue with it at all. I love that it has a self-draining system that filters the oil after I am done frying, and all the components come apart easily for cleaning.
