The cost of travel (via car) is interdependent on gas prices. What is your best tip on saving gas money? Below are my top three: 1. Keep tires properly inflated. Under-inflated tires cause a loss of fuel efficiency. 2. Limit items in my car trunk. An extra 100 pounds of 'stuff' in your trunk or tethered to the top also drains your tank. 3. Find a cheap gas station. Driving an extra block to the cheapest gas station definitely saves money.
I find a very good one to simply be, walk and cycle more. I use to be in a really bad habit of even driving to the gym which was 5 minutes away. People spend a lot of money on gas just because it is more convenient to do so. I know it is not the same for everyone, but a little less laziness goes a long way!
