I'm a newbie to gaming, but I find that I'm playing more and more these days. I would like to get the proper equipment to make my gaming experience more rich and immersive. Someone suggested I buy the Virtual Reality gear online and I would really appreciate any suggestions on which one is the best one to get.
I think you should get an Oculus Rift for now. The hardware requirement has been reduced a lot thanks to its new technology. You can also try HTC Vive but you'll need atleast a GTX 970 which isn't cheap (Oculus Rift now runs on GTX 960). By the way, don't waste your time trying Samsung Gear VR or any VR boxes for smartphone. They are definetly NOT good for gaming.
I think that the best is HTC Vive for now because it really has some awesome features in it and comes with a fair price for a VR Headset. Also the sensors for respond just fine and the controllers are awesome to use.
