Hi I am planning on travelling over to the US and would like to drive coast to coast, maybe taking in a little of Canada on the way (it's a long trip so should be able to fit it all in!). There seem to be about a million different hire companies though, so I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the best ones, the best way to save money and how to help budget it all along the way. Have a look at Rent A Wreck who do older but still reliable cars at cheaper prices than the mainstream agencies. Higher insurance rates for under 25s is a fact of life wherever in the world you rent a car but this may help offset the cost.Log In
