Los Angeles is a fun city to visit. We all know about the amusement parks and Universal Studios. There are the high profile tourist spots, but what are some other places to visit in LA that won't break the bank? Some good hangouts for locals and free attractions would be good to know.
Griffith Park is a nice place for nature sightseeing lovers. There you could have hiking and good picnic experiences along with your family and friends. Followings are some of free and interested places where a visitor could have great time. There are a LOT of things to do for free or for very little money in Los Angeles. Make sure you check out the Hollywood sign to show people you've been here! If you've got a car, which you pretty much need to have, take a drive on Mulholland Drive for the great views, and also drive on the Pacific Coast Highway to enjoy amazing Pacific views. But to me, the BEST place to visit for free is the Westwood Village Cemetery. The place is filled with movie stars - the biggest one of course being Marilyn Monroe. But everyone from Fanny Brice to Jack Lemmon to Roy Orbison to Frank Zappa is buried there. Give yourself a couple of hours to check out all the famous graves.
