In the winter I get hit with really heavy bills. My condo is electric only and I don't crank the thermostat over 65 degrees. But when it gets around zero I can expect a $300 bill, which is normally not over $50. I gratefully took advantage of Comed's free advisor, waited 6 months for my appointment. he looked around and said: nope, nothing you can do. I am not sure what I was expecting, but a bit more than that. Has anyone else tried this service? Did you have any better results?
