My credit card has the so called “rewards” that usually is in the form of seasonal discounts on restaurants, hotel accommodations, and even plane tickets. The promo period usually runs for a month or 2 that’s why we always wait for the start of the promo especially when the restaurant on the list is one of our favorites. More often than not, the restaurant discount is 50% for a maximum of 10 diners although we can only avail it twice in a particular restaurant. With the plane tickets, the credit card sends me an email when an airline promo is about to start that usually runs for a day or 2 only. Most of our travels were via those airline promo as per the notice of my credit (an my wife’s credit card as well).
