I finally got an SSD and it was mostly what I expected... Everything loads faster. I've had it for a few months with no problems too. I mostly got it for gaming, and for the ~$140 price it was probably worth it. Thinking about going back to a normal hard drive isn't a nice thought. Everything is just noticeably more responsive with an SSD but I wouldn't get one if I was only doing web browsing or word processing. And because there isn't that much space, I keep larger files on a separate hard drive. I'm pretty happy with the speed and size. If you play modern games it's something nice to have.
