It is very difficult for me to save money as I am somewhat a spendthrift. So I opened a Recurring Deposit in a bank and I know I have to put money every month without fail. But I know it is not going work out so I automated my monthly deposit to RD. Every month a particular amount will be moved from my saving account to my RD. I think it is quite convenient and I no more worry about manually depositing the money. As soon as my salary hit the bank account on a particular date this amount will be deposited in RD automatically. Did you ever automate your savings in bank?
Wow. Just now I am aware of this. I have read your post at the right time as I was thinking about some ways to save money every month but I don't know how. I will check about this RD account available at my place and if I have this facility I will engage in it. Thanks for sharing.
not yet, but I feel this might be the answer for my portfolio, since I always end up spending first and saving later. this will ensure I save first and spend the remainder. thanks for the insight @luckycharm
