I love using rose water and a drop of glycerin on my skin especially when it is dry in winter. Makes my skin soft and supple. Since I have a dry skin I use this all year through to make my skin look plump and young. Gelatin soaked in warm water is an excellent remedy for nails that crack and chip. Just add a teaspoon of gelatin and a quarter cup of warm water.. once the gelatin has dissolved soak your nails in that mixture. The natural proteins in gelatin are great for your nails. Do you have any beauty secrets to share?
My beauty secret would have to be that I love to put ones on my face and then I was it off with very warm water. After that I apply some lemon juice and I let that sink in and then I wash that off. After this it is extremely important to either put ice all over your face to seal and tighten the skin or to just wash your face with ice cold water.
I'm told that gelatin is also good for hair when you include it in your diet, but I haven't tried it. I've been meaning to, though.
I have oily skin, but when I use honey on my face I find that it's less oily. I cleanse my face with soap and water and then I spread honey all over my face and let it sit for at least 10 minutes. I then rinse with warm water and put on a light moisturizer.
My beauty secret sounds like it should be obvious, but people still don't do it. Don't go out without putting on sunscreen or sunblock. Photoaging from the sun is one of the main causes of wrinkles. I'm 38 years old and I have had 2 people in the last week tell me that I never age and that I still look the same as I did 10 years ago. Have you ever seen an old person take their shirt off and noticed that the parts where the sun doesn't hit them look younger than their face and hands? That's photoaging on their face and hands. Protect yourself from excessive sun exposure and your skin will age better. I always use sunscreen, even if I'm just going out for a few minutes. I have a friend who tans in the sun and she looks like my mother instead of my friend. I see women a couple of years younger than me on TV and I'm always surprised that they look older than me,these people usually have deep tans too. There is no such thing as a healthy tan. If you lay in the sun, you are damaging your skin. I saw a teenage girl on My Strange Addiction who had "grandma hands" because she was addicted to tanning. Anyway, that's my beauty secret, always wear sunscreen or sunblock.
Yes, I do. First drink lots of water. I have to because my kidneys are not in top condition and if I am short on water, I totally collapse. On the upside, drinking lots of water keeps my system clean and my skin supple. The other thing is always be able to see the funny side of things. This is the way to keep on top of things. A happy person will never grow old. Really.
My beauty secret is that I put lemon juice on my skin. For brighter and and softer skin and it's also helps get rid of blackheads.
Thanks for the great beauty secret! That sounds like something I desperately need. I cannot wait to try it. I couldn't agree more with you! I love the sun but I try to keep out of it due to the harmful effects. My sister tans all the time. Someone even asked if she was my mother. Yikes!
Having the right amount of sleep is no secret but these days, it somehow kind of becoming one since everybody is almost always wired on the internet. I only eat natural foods these days as well like fruits and vegetables. I stay away from processed foods and red meat.
in winter i also use rose water and a drop of glycerinbut in summer season i have to so much carefull about me i used to washing face many of time in a day and some avoid going in sunshine,
My skin is really dry to the point that it will peel in cold weather. After my surgeries, I found that my skin peels even more so what I use is pure Vitamin E oil. It contain natural collagen and I hoped that it would help the sagging skin (extreme weight loss) but the difference has been minimal.
I use turmeric along with besan to make my skin spotless and soft. I have been applying this on my skin from a very young age. I think it was introduced to it by my mother. I totally love to use it but the only problem is it takes me 20 minutes to apply and wash it off. I just feel it takes too much time.
My beauty secret is not something you can buy. My beauty secret is to refrain from stressing. It really works miracles and you can see results within just a few days. You may no even know that you are stressing. Just try not to worry about things. Look into mediation practices and drink lots of water. It will keep you looking young.
It is not much of a secret but I would definitely recommend moisturizing every day to keep your skin healthy. Firm, supple skin that is hydrated looks much better than dry skin, even with makeup on. If you don't wear makeup - moisturizing is especially important because it keeps your skin looking fresh and helps you to put your healthiest face forward.
