I detest them...in movies and in books. There should be a definitive ending, seriously, if someone spends *hours* watching something (or worse, days reading it) they want some resolution of some kind! Cliffhangers are awful...and so are the types of endings where you find out 'it was all just a dream....or was it?" or some similar nonsense. Bah.
