Ahhhh, the Caribbean, full of laughter, love, warm, sunny beaches, smooth seawater caressing our toes, and luscious sea breeze brushing our golden-tanned cheeks! I LOVE the Caribbean! I call it my home, and I'm so proud to do so! Have you ever been to any country in the Caribbean? There are so many! Jamaica, the Bahamas, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua&Barbuda, Trinidad&Tobago, Guyana, and sooo many more that I'd be out-of-breath to actually mention now! The Caribbean has been renowned worldwide for its attractiveness, the beauty of its landscape and its people, its delicious tropical cuisine, and the thrill of its white-sanded beaches. So...have you been to the Caribbean?, what was your experience like?, where did you go?, and would you like to go back?!
Haven't been to the Caribbean but I intend to travel there some time. I don't know if Belize is in the Caribbean or not. In her song, La Isla Bonita, Madonna makes San Pedro sound like a tropical heaven. Other sources back up her claims that San Pedro is beautiful. I suppose if I was to travel to the Caribbean, the first place I'd visit is San Pedro and then try other places.
Niiice! Belize IS actually in the Caribbean, and has English as its major language, although the natives do speak Spanish. It's quite a beautiful place, and it's good to know that Madonna has endorsed it! (Laugh). What I know of it, is that although the land is more or less of scale, the population is actually quite small, and most people are concentrated to one part of the island, which makes it interesting, because everybody knows each other there. It's quit beautiful, you'd be in for a good stay if you went! And you could brush up on some Spanish if you so desired. Jamaica and Barbados are also great options after you've enjoyed Belize!
Well YES!! I would love to go to the Caribbean. Just to be able to relax on one of the most beautiful beaches in world would be amazing. Me and my husband thought about getting married in the Caribbean but it turned out to be too expensive. Hopefully we will get their sometime in the near future.
Yes, I love the Caribbean. I have been to Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman. I've swum with dolphins, stingrays, SCUBA dived, snorkled, climbed a waterfall, fed a hummingbird, gone white water tubing in the jungle, and shopped til I dropped. Every time I went I was on a cruise and I would like to do more cruising but I really think I would also like to go spend a week or so in Jamaica. It is my favorite place in the world I've ever been. If I ever lived anywhere but the US it would probably be there.
I'm so happy you're looking forward to visiting the Caribbean! It really is a beautiful paradise, and one of your "must-visits", if ever there was one! I'm sorry that you and your husband weren't able to get married there due to the expense, but perhaps things have changed, in terms of the leverage that is given to the weddings of non-locals. You should definitely check them out to find out if they have packages for either renewal of vows or for you to have your second honeymoon there. I know for sure that there are hotels in Jamaica that are actually quite reasonable, and that could give you great offers if you like, and the ambiance, as well as the food, are just unimaginable! One particular hotel that I would recommend in Jamaica is Jamaica Grande . Have a look see! You'll never know what bargains are on their way to you!
I love the fact that you've not only visited these places, but you've visited them and LIVED! Those experiences that you've listed are activities that I'd like to partake with my family, and they would surely fascinate me! I can definitely understand what you mean about Jamaica. It is the absolute BEST in my eye as well. I love the white sandy beaches, the people, the warmth and breeze of the tropical climate, and the glorious jerked chicken . I can just bet that you've tasted this delicacy! Have you ever?!
Yes, I have been to the Caribbean. I took a cruise to Nassau, Bahamas. I had a great time. I visited an old college friend while I was there. It was too short though. I would love to go back to the Caribbean. My bucket list includes: --St. Lucia. I want to take a Body Holiday at Le Sport Spa and Resort. --Antigua --Barbados --Grenada
I live in the Caribbean so other islands are not too high on my dream future travel list. I'm from Puerto Rico. I love my island and the weather and natural resources are gorgeous, but if I were to travel I would rather see something totally different, snow or desert or city... I've been to so many great beaches here in PR I can't imagine it would be much different in any other island, except for maybe a change in culture.
