I have built a few Tamiya model cars and planes, as well as some Gunpla as a hobby. While it is pretty fun, the kits can be very expensive, and kits which require detailed painting also cost a lot (acrylic paint +airbrush) Does anyone else build such kits, and can recommend sites to get them for cheap? I tend to use Hobbylink Japan. Hopefully as 3D printing grows more advanced these kits will get much cheaper, maybe we can even print them ourselves! Honestly the cost price of such resin kits should be pretty low.
