Now, I don't just mean the basic numbers on the card. I mean do you know the basic numbers, the expiration date, and the CVN number on the back? Personally, I do. This really have to do with usage, honestly. I've had the same cards for almost a decade now and I know them like the back of my hand. Dealing with online shopping, phone payments, or filling out forms over the years have cemented the numbers in my brain. The only thing I have to keep reminding myself about are the expiration and the CVNs because they change.
Yeah, I know all of the numbers on my main card. The CV number and everything. I can easily rattle it off over the phone when paying bills, etc. This one expires in December, so I'll have to relearn the numbers when I get a new one lol.
There are times that I have known the last four on my credit cards and I might remember the CVN, but I have never been able to memorize an entire credit card number. I guess I just have too many other numbers that I need to remember.
I don't even try to remember it. The more I use it, the more I have to pop out the card from the wallet and read it while typing up the number. And the more I do this, the number will be naturally engraved in my memory. I've done this for every card including debit cards up till now.
I only remember the first 8 digits of the card I use most often. I don't have my account numbers memorized. For some reason, I can remember facts and words but not numbers. I only know a handful of phone numbers by heart.
Nope, I use it to buy thing online often, but every time I just whip it out of my wallet. It would save some time, if I would just go ahead and memorize one of my credit cards, but I have a bunch of different cards that I use to try and maximize my cash back and rewards points. When I am shopping online and in store, I use the card that would give me the most cash back. That's probably why I don't have any of my cards memorized.
I do at this point, yes. I didn't think I ever would, but I've had to type it in so many times in a row for online purchases that yes, yes I do know the numbers by heart now, ha. I'm not proud of it, but oh well.
Actually no. For the most part I never really use my cards for anything major because I always use cash to pay for anything and if a service needs me to relay my card information I always pull out my wallet and check for my card number. Kind of embarrassing really. I even forget my PIN sometimes.
I used to know all of the numbers for my cards. However after I got married and changed my name, when I requested new cards for the same accounts, they had all new numbers on them. It has been harder to memorize since then, but I think it helps me save money. I have to have my wallet in order to buy something online, it helps cut down on impulse buys.
The only number I know is the CV2 number. I would have to use my card like a shopaholic or really just sit there and study the numbers. I don't have time for that. I think the average person just pulls out swipes and goes about their business. The main thing most people look at is just the design and make sure the name matches. Lastly, people check their balance more than anything. If the money is there, no worries.
No, I don't know the number of my credit card, as I only use it for ATM withdrawals. For most of my internet transactions I use a prepaid visa card. Actually, I have two types of prepaid credit cards, a reloadable and non-reloadable one. Occasionally, when it is more convenient, I use paypal for my online transactions, in which case I also pay little attention to my credit card number.
