I'm a bit old school in terms of the phones I use ( simple little phone) because I tried to go "smart phone" and I found them too fussy to deal with and for the life of me I need a keyboard to type, those flat touch screens drive me CRAZY! But... I may get one for good eventually. What would you recommended? Which one do you like?
My favorite smartphone is the Apple iPhone. I mean what is not to love about the iPhone. It handles everything so well, and it also runs so smoothly. When I am using the Apple iPhone there is so much about it that I love it is hard to explain. One of the reasons I feel like that is because I have owned a Android phone as well.
I know that it's last gen but my favorite is still the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It's a smartphone that has a 5.5 inch screen display and a quad core processor. It already has been surpassed by the Note 3 (which has a more powerful processor, camera, and a slightly larger screen) but since I don't have the Note 3, I'm sticking with the Note 2. I use it every single day for playing, watching videos, surfing the web, for lectures, etc.
I have seen the Samsung Note 3 at the store, which I would still prefer the Samsung Note 2 because of the design. It seems like there are a lot of mobile users migrating towards phablets.
I have an Iphone 5 at the moment and will have it for the next year or so. In terms of all the smartphones I have ever had, it is my favourite so far. I don't expect it to remain my favourite forever though.
Definitely the SGS4. It's the best one on the market right now. Shame it's so expensive, even with a contract. I have an older model Samsung I use every day and it's alright, but I wouldn't mind an upgrade.
I think that the iPhone is quite overpriced, so you're better off choosing a Samsung Galaxy or Sony Xperia model. I read that when it comes to apps, the iPhone is quite limited in that area as compared to Android phones.
Well, honestly, I miss my iPhone 4 a little bit now that I have a Note 2. Well, I like them both because with iPhone 4, I can customize all the buttons to do certain tasks which I can't do with my Note 2 and I am still unsure if there is already an app for that (Activator for iPhone). But my Note 2 is better in a lot of aspects as compared with my iPhone: 1. Note 2 has a bigger screen which is good for watching movies and playing games 2. Note 2 has a better battery life than all other smart phones 3. Note 2 has a pen! haha 4. Lots of apps available for Android now. 5. you can customize android all you want! (well, except for the buttons) haha So I guess, I would still prefer using my Note 2. XD
Mine would have to be iPhone but my 3rd gen recently broke. I've used my brothers Android and it's extremely useful when it comes to doing everything. I mean you don't need a speific computer to transfer files such as videos and music whereas iPhone needs iTunes. That's what I like about Androids
Iphones are way over priced and hits all the pitfalls that every single other apple device falls into in that ultimately the operating systems is too restricted to do everything that a normal OS should. some of those point have already been pointed out above. An entry level android phone will do everything and more... but will only do it for about a year until the hardware starts to suffer. If you only need it for a year then great, if not then consider something like the HTC- you won't be dissapointed
I am with you. The Samsung Note 2 has the S-Pen, which is one of the reasons I have chosen Samsung Note 2.
You guys are really into the Note eh? I have to check it out because I've seen a lot of people with this phone and they are happy about it. It seems a bit big though for my pockets. I don't want to purchase a man bag to carry it!
Nokia phones look best to me. It's just too bad that Windows isn't as filled with apps like Android or iOS, or it would be a perfect phone for me since I actually like the Windows Mobile interface.
Oh yes! I have seen there are a lot of girls who have the Samsung Note 2 and say they really like it. I just purchased the Samsung Note 3 yesterday, which I didn't have the time to play it yet. I really like the S-Pen idea, which it's convenient and better for me to keep track of my personal schedule.
