Okay I have a question about rebooking a returning date. Does anyone here how much it costs if there's a fee?
Just call the airline. Some are easier than others. If you didn't buy the insurance (and who does), there might be a fee. I don't know $50, $75? It might not be much. But we've had experience in changing flights for family things (a wedding comes to mind) and the flight I wanted to change to wasn't full, so I wasn't charged for changing. Truly, depends on the airline. I know airlines are struggling right now, and price gouging wherever they can, so that is a little annoying. I'd be interested to hear follow up from you though, on how it goes.
