    December 17 is the 2012 date for Free Shipping Day. This popular one-day holiday allows consumers to shop from hundreds of online merchants on FreeShippingDay.com with delivery by Christmas Eve. I participated last year and the gifts did arrive on time.

    Free Shipping Day has been around since 2008. I haven't heard of any negative things about it. Not saying that there isn't, but I haven't heard any.

    Good to know. Is this a national thing? Or a regional thing? It wasn't advertised at all, that I can remember. Too bad.
