I'm shopping around and checking rates for both auto and homeowners insurance. The best rates, by far, are Geico. I've had them in the past for auto insurance and had no complaints, although I can't remember if we actually filed any claims with them or not. I'm just wondering if anyone has used them for Homeowner's insurance, and if so, how was your experience?

Yes, I do, my homeowners is with Travelers which is a subsidiary of Geico. The one time I tried to get them to cover something which was some water damage in my crawlspace, they pointed out some paragraph in the policy that showed where it was not covered..so big help! However, like you said, their rates are the best around. I guess they would be better than nothing, however, I am happy I had Allstate when a tornado hit here..not really sure what Travelers would have done. Maybe you should read some reviews online.
