Have You Ever Used The Data Saving Features Of Chrome And Opera In Android?

With the advent of 4G / LTE Internet we can surf data at unimaginable speed. But our usage of data is also sky rocketing and so are our Internet bills too. But browsers like Chrome and Opera have some cool features which actually compress data through their servers before reaching our handset.

• Chrome - Settings -> Bandwidth and turn on Reduce data usage option.
• Opera – Opera logo -> turn on the Off-Road mode

But there is a catch. By turning these features on you are allowing their servers to see whatever you are surfing. So I don’t recommend using this while dealing with sensitive information.
