Well the snow and freezing rain has begun here in Ohio. I've slipped and slide several times but have fallen yet. I had this crazy idea to go and invest in pair of cleats to have a better grip on the ice in some attempt to prevent from falling. It's a challenge to get to the driver's side even when you're using the vehicle as a support. What do you do to prevent yourself from falling, if applicable, on snow and ice?
Wear mountaineer boots or boots with rough soles that can cut through snow. Perhaps you can also avoid walking directly on snow. If there are pavements with rocks on them, better choose such pathways. If there are railing around the corner, then you can use these to guide you until you reach your destination. Better not walk through snow alone. It's not safe.
