Lets see now, in the 80's, I was a convenience store manager. I made $300 per week. In the 90's I was a grocery store assistant manager. I made $360 per week. Then I went into the clerical field. I averaged about $450 per week. Now I am an entertainer. I make about $550 per week. I guess I could have skipped all of this and made $9,841,673,592 per week if I would have become an inventor just like the people who made the 'As Seen On TV Products'.
Well, to be honest all of them aren't making that much. It really depends on how many units you sell. Just because you make an invention it doesn't mean it will be bought by the public. First thing would be making a solid invention, and that alone can take years to create a prototype, and then you need someone to invest in you, so you can manufacture them. It sounds easy on paper, but in actuality it's very difficult.
