With the advent of high speed internet, people have started watching TV online and this has led to the companies which stream content online. The two most prominent companies in this industry are Netflix and Amazon Prime.Amazon Prime is cheaper in comparison to Netflix, in terms of annual subscription price. Also Amazon Prime comes with the added benefit of free two-day shipping on products purchased from Amazon.com. But Netflix has a larger library of content then Amazon Prime. So, I wanted to know which service do you guys prefer?

From what I understand, Amazon is cheaper by about ~2 dollars per month but netflix will have a bigger library. Amazon does offer newer tv shows that won't show up on Netflix but you still have to pay extra to access those newer show. Also Amazon's HD service is limited to 720p. Here is a good chart to compare all of the streaming services.

I think Netflix sill might be the best service at the moment. If you are looking to replace cable and want new TV shows then Hulu Plus is also a great service. But you will also have to watch ads because of the extra cost they have to pay to licence the newer episodes.

I choose to use Netflix. I understand that Amazon Prime is cheaper, but you also have to subscribe with a credit card in order to get Amazon Prime and my husband and I gave up using credit cards some years ago. If they would allow you to pay with PayPal, I would probably opt to have both Netflix and Amazon Prime as they have different programming.
