I was doing some research on the Pacific Crest Trail this morning because it seems like it would be the trail walk of a life time. It is over 2000 miles long and extends from the Canadian border all the way down to the Mexican border. Apparently the hike would average a person about $4k if they were to hike the entire length when you consider all the food and supplies you would need. I am putting this on my bucket list of things to do. Has anyone hiked any distance on this trail before?
