Are you serious 10000 character minimum create a discussion. How is that going to encourage members to make new discussions. 10000 characters is way too much for a discussion about a discount promo for a robot vacuum cleaner. I won't share it anymore because this how are going to make an essay that long for a simple promo. I think you should be strict on those areas where people abuse by posting generic surveys.
To be honest I don't really mind because it isn't difficult to expand on a title. It's happened to me many times and I will always find a way to lengthen it and it doesn't put me off making new threads. It also makes it clearer about what the topic is about. Many people, including myself at times, will read the title and not pay too much attention to what is written underneath. At least a long title makes it clearer.
