Someone sent a link to QuiBid to me recently and I knew absolutely nothing about it - has anyone ever used it? From my understanding you have to purchase bids and since everyone buys bids you will inevitably end up paying for a product you don't end up winning, but that's the risk you take I guess. Not sure how often this $22 iPad actually happens but it sounds like there is quite a bit of potential loss to most consumers with this site. Has anyone had any huge success/loss from QuiBid?

I wouldn't advise messing around with them, they've had a number of lawsuits filed against them. The way they word their offers are very misleading. You bit with "pennies" on their site, but each "penny" you buy costs 60 cents each, so you're not really getting a bargain on anything. In addition, you can pay a lot more to get that item, if you even get it at all.
