So I had this little clicker to unlock my car door automatically. I went out to start the car to let it warm up when it was really cold out. I locked it up then used the clicker to get back in. Then, it suddenly dawned on me that this remote wasn't even for my current car. It was for my old one.

I find it strange that it works for my current vehicle, but it does come in Handy. I have to think that may not be a good thing though... someone else might be able to use one from a different car to unlock mine. Weird.

Well, that's not unheard of. If it's an older clicker, then there are only so many unique ones out there for those older vehicles. I'd get that changed if I were you to avoid problems later on, unless it's a car that nobody would want to steal. Chances are good that another person won't have a clicker that will work on your vehicle at a given moment, though.
