Rootbeer is a funny one for me. I definitely think the different brands taste different from each other but I can't tell you which one is which in a blind taste test. I would know thye are different but not which brand they are.
I have only tasted 7-Up and Sprite, and they indeed both taste a bit different from each other. I haven't tasted yet the other brands that you have mentioned.
