The Dollar General stores in my state have this offer, on the receipt, every time you shop. The best trick is to stop by the Dollar General during the week and pick up some necessary item. There is usually always something on sale there that you need. Then, take the receipt from that purchase (with the 5$ off coupon also pick up their circular for added savings) and do the bulk of your shopping there on a Saturday.
