Hey guys, Like my previous post, I have a problem with some gaming hardware, this time with my mouse instead of my headset. Ever since I got my mouse, when I click on the right mouse button, there a squeaking sound as if something is not 'oiled' properly. I have seen people recommend taking the mouse apart and putting it back together to fix it, but I lack the technical know-how nor confidence to do that, so if you guys know of any solutions to the squeaking, I would be very grateful. Thanks, Charlie
Well, you can submerge it in oil and hope it gets to the squeaking parts. Your only option is to take the mouse apart, which takes about 60 seconds. You can lubricate any squeaking parts if necessary and then put things back together. On a difficulty scale, I'd say it's about a 3/10, so I wouldn't worry about it.
