Hi, I would like to see a sub-forum topic under Personal Finance for Taxes, specifically personal taxes. I read posts everyday about on/offline money making endeavors. I think there would be a lot of discussion on that topic. I, myself, have a strong interest in the topic. I have my certificate from H & R Block's tax preparation course. It was for my own personal knowledge in pursuing my own business. I had so many questions that I couldn't find the answers to. I have been preparing my own taxes for years now and for others as well. Is there anyone that thinks this would be a good sub-forum topic?
I think conceptually it's an interesting topic, though it will be a topic specific to those in your region (I assume the US). A lot of us aren't under US tax jurisdictions so probably wouldn't get much out of it, and should possibly steer clear to avoid confusing the message. But that doesn't mean it shouldn't be addressed - there are enough people out there that have to consider IRS implications for it to be a worthwhile topic.
