I'm moving to a new apartment soon and was just informed that the ONLY provider I'm allowed to have is Verizon Fios. Yikes.

I have never used Verizon for internet or cable at all. I know for my cell phone, though, Verizon tends to be rather expensive compared to a lot of other providers. Is it the same way with internet/cable?

And how is the connection with them? Is it pretty good or am I going to hate it? I need a steady internet connection for work...

Wow, I'm surprised no one has responded to this yet. I thought fios was gaining in popularity!

I have a new question to tack on, too. I was looking at prices and it only saves me $5 a month to choose only internet versus choosing internet, cable, and phone combined. :S That just seems ridiculous to me! I don't need the phone and I rarely watch TV, but I wonder if I should go with the bundle anyway.

Can we trade? I wish I could find out for myself. Like I said before, I hate Comcast. I want Fios so bad. They have to be better than Comcast especially since anything's better than them. I think maybe you should get the bundle anyway if it's only 5 dollars less. It's always good to have the phone and TV there for whenever you feel like using it.
