I tried that whitening pen, its a blue pen and they sell it at Walgreens It is awesome. Even used alone. But I also use it with Crest 3D tooth whitening toothpaste and the whitening mouth wash, and omg. Its as good as the dentist if not better. I noticed a difference after the 1st day. I now use the pen for maintenance.
Thank you for the review. I have been looking for an effective tooth whitening regimen. What brand pen did you use?
I want to try it is it cost a lot? And is good with just the pen alone or does it work better with the other stuff combined?
The Walgreens teeth whitening pen is $7.99 however I think the product that really whitened Farrah's pearly whites is the Crest whitening strips which retails for around $54. My friends have tried it and swear by it. You can try the pen first and if it does not work you can use the whitening strips. If you just have smalll yellow stains at the edges of your teeth due to drinking coffee or soda regularly then you can just add a pinch of baking soda on your toothpaste everytime your brush. My denstist recommended it and it works for me.
Thanks for the review and pricing information! I did see one ad for the pen and just thought it was going to be ineffective because you don't get an even application. I do need some spot treatment, so it is great to hear that I can get the one at Walgreens for under $10.
That's good to know. If you search around, I'm sure you can find some coupons for them. Then wait for them to go on sale to get them with the double savings. I hope they make coupons for them.
I really don't trust this kind of tools. Just see a specialist and he will definitely tell you the best method to whiten your teeth. It will cost you more but at least you'll be safe. I know a few people who damaget their teeth with this kind of tools.
I would like to try them out, but since 1 item is $54, I would be obliged to pay expensive taxes already if I order it online. DIY teeth whitening products aren't really popular in my country, I only see those ads for teeth whitening treatments, but they're kind of expensive.
omg well it got a lot of positive reviews but my God i cant afford this stuff its to much on my wallet hahaha. Anyway is it better than the dentist bleach offer?
Well if it is good as the dentist then I might want to check it out. I would have to price it out because of the budget have but I am going to look into that particular one at my local Walgreens.
I purchased the one at Walgreens. I was actually surprised how good it worked. It was kind of expensive though, as far as a single whitening pen is concerned. I found one at the "Dollar Tree" for $1 and it worked just as good. I'm going to stick with the $1 pen. Even though I smoke, as long as I keep buying that cheap pen from the "Dollar Tree", I'll always have white teeth. lol
A tooth whitening pen? Seriously? That sounds a little sketchy to me. There are much cheaper ways to whiten teeth. Have you guys tried using peroxide and baking soda? They sell them in every dollar store and will set you back a grand total of two dollars and fifty cents if that much.
whitening toothpaste will be good but i have no idea because i am not user of the toothpaste i preferred to the stick of the tree because my teeth was damming when i brush with the toothpaste some one suggest to me that stick of the green tree is the best for the maintain your teeth health....whats your point of view about the green stick of the tree?
I've used the Brilliant teeth cleaning pen and it seemed to help some. I found that using the strips would be more beneficial and easier, but that's just me. I also heard that you could swash peroxide in your mouth and get the same results over time that you could receive from getting them cleaned professionally.
I have been wanting to try that thing, but I have been nervous about it because I don't want it to damage by teeth. I do use the Colgate Optic White toothpaste, and I have noticed a difference from it...I've been using it for about a month, so that's just a tip. AND I got 2 tubes for $1.18 (or something like that) because I had a free product coupon (up to $4.99) and it was BOGO at CVS @ $5 and some change. Not too shabby, I'd say, especially because it works great.
I have also seen one of these pens and the reason I bought one opposed to the whitening strips was because it was a fraction of the price. The pen was about 10 dollars with tax so I had nothing to lose. After using the pen for about a week I actually saw results which is why I'm going this weekend to purchase another one! I would recommend buying it from rite aid because this is where I found it to be the cheapest!
