Most people might already know about this, but just in case you haven't heard about it. Toys R Us has a birthday club. They'll give you a coupon for $5 off a $25 purchase. We just got the coupon for my daughter. It doesn't expire until November so there's plenty of time to use it.
I did know about this, we got one for our son. I don't know if there are supposed to be other perks as well, but that's really the only thing we've ever received. Babies R Us used to send coupons, but I never used those either. I do like the $5 off though for him to pick out something he wants.
