Of course, we love to try the classy restaurants when we are on vacation for we have allocated a budget for that. However, there are times that we want to sample authentic cuisine native to the place and we find it often in cheap restaurants. Last week, we went to a small eatery on a secondary road for a quick meal. It was Fookien, said the blurb in the menu, so we ordered their rice toppings. Oh, it was heavenly. And eating it with chopsticks gave us a sample of the old Fookien restaurants. And the price? Very cheap.
