I'm looking forward to buy a new 2TB portable hard drive to carry my important data along with me. I want a strong case with nice design as well as optimum security. Which one should I prefer to buy?
I have a long experience with the Seagate brand and I’d say it is one good brand for hard drives. I bought my portable 2TB hard drive 2 years ago and it’s doing okay. However, I cannot vouch for the cost because over here, Seagate costs moderate compared to high end brands. I bought it for less than $100. And it goes with a 1-year warranty although you may not need the warranty because of my good experience with Seagate.
I use WD My Ultimate Passport that has 1 TB storage. I have been using this disk since three years. Data transfer is also very fast on this portable disk. My previous laptop also had WD hard disk inside. I can recommend this portable hard disk to anyone who is looking for reliable back up storage. I bought the disk for just about $80.
