I'll be travelling to Iowa later this month for a business trip and am wondering if there is anything I should check out while I'm there. I know, it's Iowa, but I'd like see something unique to the state as I doubt I'll be back anytime soon. Any suggestions on what I should visit while I'm there?
What part of Iowa are you visiting. I am in Iowa but I am very close to the state border. I visit Nebraska a lot. I know there are things to do in Des Moines, IA.
Honestly, Iowa is such a boring place. I've spent quite some time there, especially in Des Moines. The city is all right, albeit quite small compared to cities on the coasts. There are plenty of outdoor activities to partake in, but I can't think of a single thing besides that other than visiting local attractions and points of interests like parks and whatnot.
