Which books might become future classics?

    I'm a voracious reader and still, I suck as a literary prophet but I suspect that Paulo Coehlo's works, The Alchemist and Eleven Minutes for instance, are very inspiring and influential, and will not be brushed off by history. Perhaps we'll look on him as a great classic writer. Perhaps not. His novels have the themes and motifs of classic books.

    Name a few books in the last 20 years and indicate the reasons without spoiling the plot.

    Well, I think that the Harry Potter series is already am instant classic. It would go down in history in the same league as The Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia. Given its immense popularity with both kids and adults alike, Harry Potter will be read my many more for years to come. I also think that The Da Vinci Code could become a classic because of its intriguing and controversial plot.

    Ya I think Da Vin Ci Code will be wonderful classic soon :) It will be interesting to watch.
